Flyer Example

Flyer Example
I created this flyer to use as an example in my classroom. After showing this example I would issue an assignment to make a flyer for an upcoming event in the school. We would have a competition within the classroom to see whose flyer would be used. This would help the children increase their technology skills.

Stress

I created this Google Presentation to teach my class the definition of stress, things that can cause stress, and ways to relieve it. I would use this in my class as an introduction followed by the class working in groups to create their own stress management plan.

How did I get sick?

I created this Animoto as an introduction to the ways communicable diseases are spread. I would use this in my classroom as a fun way to discuss the spread of disease without inducing fear. Modes of transmission discussed are personal contact, food, blood, animals, and contaminated objects.

Point of View

I created this to discuss the differences between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person writing. I would use this in my classroom as an introduction, followed by the kids reading different passages, or writing their own to identify 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person.
